On your first datafrey run, the CLI asks which AI client you want to connect — pick Claude Code. To install (or reinstall) later: 
datafrey client claude
Start claude, run /mcp enable plugin:datafrey:datafrey, and use /db to query your database: 
/db how many tables i have
On first /db use, Claude Code opens your browser for OAuth. Tokens refresh automatically.

  • MCP server — connects Claude Code to https://mcp.datafrey.ai/mcp
  • /db skill
datafrey client claude runs these two marketplace commands: 
claude plugin marketplace add datafrey-ai/datafrey
claude plugin install datafrey@datafrey
